Join us on November 21st at Los Poblanos Open Space for the Girls on the Run Rio Grande 5K Celebration, where hundreds of girls will cross the finish line after 10 weeks of building confidence, kindness, and strength!
We're inviting community members to lace up and run alongside them as community runners, cheering on our participants and celebrating their incredible accomplishment.
No matter your pace or experience, you'll be part of an uplifting, joyful event that shows every girl she has a community behind her.
This is a timed event, but there are no awards, so you can run at whatever pace feels good.
Community runners receive a swag bag at check-in, which is available only the morning of the event, along with our heartfelt gratitude for supporting our program.
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
No refunds. Refunds are not allowed for this race.
Albuquerque is the most populous city in New Mexico and the county seat of Bernalillo County. Founded in 1706 as La Villa de Alburquerque, it sits in the Albuquerque Basin, flanked by the Sandia Mountains to the east and the West Mesa to the west, with the Rio Grande running through the middle. The high desert climate brings hot summers and mild, sunny conditions, so spring and autumn are the best seasons to race.
