Join us for The Extra Mile, a traditional one-mile race (5,280 feet) helping to provide scholarships that support students’ futures.
Whether you are running competitively or walking in support, your participation highlights the importance of investing in the next generation of learners and leaders.
T-shirt registration deadline
Register by November 9 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
Parking and getting to the start
Event parking will be available at the finish line. Participants are encouraged to warm up by walking or jogging to the start area, or they may be dropped off near the starting line. Parking is not available at the starting line.
Cancellation policy
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.

Addis is a town in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, with a population of 6,731 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Baton Rouge metropolitan area. Louisiana's humid subtropical climate means hot, humid summers and mild winters, so late autumn through spring are the best seasons to race.
