The 6th Assam Rifles Half Marathon 2026 is set to take place on Sunday, 22nd November 2026, in the picturesque city of Shillong, Meghalaya. Celebrating fitness, endurance, and community spirit, the event is expected to bring together over 4,000 runners from across India to participate in one of the country's most scenic road races.
With race categories designed for participants of all ages and abilities, the marathon encourages people to embrace an active lifestyle while experiencing the breathtaking beauty of Shillong's rolling hills and pine forests.
By registering for the Assam Rifles Half Marathon 6.0, participants confirm that they are medically and physically fit to participate in the race distance selected, considering their fitness, training, and medical history.
Running involves physical risks. Any medical issue, injury, or health complication before, during, or after the run, on the course or at the venue, shall be the participant's responsibility. Medical facilities, medical camps, and ambulances will be available at the venue and along the route. Participants are advised to listen to their body and seek immediate medical assistance if experiencing dizziness, unusual discomfort, breathlessness, or chest pain.
