The Yoddha Race is India's premier, multi-city functional fitness championship designed to crown the fittest individuals in the nation. This high-octane hybrid event blends raw, heavy strength work with intense cardiovascular endurance challenges, pushing everyday gym-goers and elite athletes alike to their absolute physical and mental limits.
The competition layout features a unique matrix: a series of grueling workout zones seamlessly bridged by chip-tracked running intervals. Unlike traditional obstacle courses that focus on mud or climbing walls, The Yoddha Race targets pure athletic conditioning, power-to-weight ratios, and stamina under heavy fatigue. Competitors race for a share of the massive ₹30 Lakh prize pool.
What to Expect on Race Day
The Race Matrix: Navigate a sequence of dedicated fitness stations including heavy sandbag carries, sled pushes, burpee broad jumps, kettlebell walks, and rowing ergs—each separated by precise functional running stretches.
The 90-Minute Battle: Every athlete is fitted with an electronic timing chip. To earn your status as a true finisher, you must conquer all stations and cross the ultimate finish line before the strict 90-minute cutoff clock expires.
The Finisher's Reward: Crossing the line within the time limit unlocks your premium rewards, including the high-performance, moisture-wicking Yoddha Tee and the heavy, custom-crafted Yoddha Finisher Medal.
Festival Zone: Beyond the race tracks, the venue features supplement tasting booths, apparel pop-ups, recovery zones, and interactive mini-challenges for spectators.
Competitive Categories
Individual Open (Male / Female): The ultimate solo test against the clock in your age bracket, with weights and repetitions optimized by gender.
Doubles (Male / Female): Team up with a same-gender partner to share the station load while running the distance together.
Mixed Doubles (1 Male + 1 Female): Synchronized fitness testing with completely identical workout weights, repetitions, and running distances for both partners.
The Elite Wave (Top 100): Reserved for the top functional fitness athletes in the country featuring strict movement scrutiny and maximum weights competing for the official title of 'Fittest in India'.

The course
700 M
A series of grueling workout zones (heavy sandbag carries, sled pushes, burpee broad jumps, kettlebell walks, and rowing ergs) seamlessly bridged by chip-tracked running intervals.
700 Meter
• Zone 1: Rowing (1,000m) – You will secure your feet into a concept rower and pull hard until the screen hits 1,000 meters. This test shifts your momentum immediately from a pure run into a full-body cardiorespiratory burn.
• Zone 2: Sled Push (50m) – You must grip the vertical bars of a heavily weighted steel sled and drive it forward across the turf for a total distance of 50 meters (typically split into lengths).
• Zone 3: Sled Pull (50m) – Using a thick, heavy rope attached to the sled, you will pull the weighted sled toward you over a total span of 50 meters. This zone places massive pressure on your grip strength, upper back, and hamstrings.
• Zone 4: Farmers Carry / Kettlebell Carry (200m) – You will pick up a heavy kettlebell in each hand and walk a designated 200-meter track. You are not allowed to drop the weights outside the designated rest areas without incurring penalties.
• Zone 5: Box Jumps (30 Reps) – Standing in front of a sturdy plyo box, you must jump up with both feet landing completely on top of the box, showing full hip extension at the top, and step or jump down for 30 consecutive repetitions.
• Zone 6: Sandbag Lunge Walk (100m) – With a heavy sandbag clean-loaded across your upper back or shoulders, you must perform continuous walking lunges over a distance of 100 meters. Your trailing knee must lightly touch the turf on every single repetition.
Yes. Every participant can bring up to 2 spectators for free. A registration link for guest passes is sent out closer to race day.
Can I choose my specific wave timing?
No. Wave timings are automatically allocated based on your category and reporting group.
How will I know my exact start time?
Your official reporting time and bib assignment will be emailed to you 10 to 14 days before the race.
What happens if I cross the 90-minute mark?
You will still be allowed to finish the course, but you will not receive the finisher medal.
Are the workout weights different for men and women?
Weights vary by gender in individual open categories. However, in Mixed Doubles, weights, reps, and distances are completely identical for both partners.
