The Khajuraho Temple Run 2027 brings together passionate runners to experience a memorable race in the historic city of Khajuraho. Scheduled for Sunday, 21 February 2027, the event features 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon (21K) categories designed for runners of all ability levels.
Participants are requested to review all important instructions, health protocols, and race guidelines prior to applying for the event. The race features staggered start corals to ensure smooth passage and prevent overcrowding along the route.
In addition to regular finisher amenities, long-time participants who complete multiple years of the Khajuraho Temple Run Half Marathon are eligible for special milestone recognitions through the RBR Stride Medal series.

Milestone Recognition & Stride Medals
To honor dedicated multi-year participants, half marathon finishers reaching key milestones will earn special RBR Stride Medals in addition to their standard event finisher medal:
RBR Bronze Stride Medal: For completing 3 years of the half marathon
RBR Silver Stride Medal: For completing 6 years of the half marathon
RBR Gold Stride Medal: For completing 9 years of the half marathon
RBR Epic Stride Medal: For completing 12 years of the half marathon
Course Support & Amenities
The event provides comprehensive on-course support to ensure safety and comfort for all participants:
Non-contact hydration and aid stations positioned along the course with water and energy drinks
Toilets available at the start line and along the route
Medical aid stations staffed with healthcare professionals near every water station, along with ambulances on standby
A field hospital / medical station situated at the start/finish area for emergencies
Police personnel, route marshals, and lead vehicles guiding runners

Key Prize Rules
For Overall winners, net timing is considered and runners should line up near the front at the start line. Prize money disbursal takes place after 21 days from the event date via cheque or bank transfer. Indian nationals must submit a government ID and PAN card, while international participants must provide required documentation.
Runners starting more than 15 minutes after the official flag-off time will not be eligible for awards. Interchanging running bibs or timing tags will result in immediate disqualification. Discrepancies in published results must be emailed within 4 days of the race date to [email protected] with proof.

Applies if you cancel your own registration. If the organizer cancels the event, every paid athlete is refunded in full automatically. Cancellations and refunds are the organiser's responsibility and are processed by them. Endurace helps where it can, but cannot guarantee a refund.

The course has a net gain in elevation from start to finish. The route is closed to vehicular traffic and manned by police personnel and race volunteers, with lead vehicles guiding participants and directional route signages placed throughout.
