The 9th Edition of the Kakinada Marathon takes place on 24 January 2027 along the Kakinada coast, offering distances of 21.1KM, 10KM, 5KM, and 3KM.
This year's event runs to create awareness about platelet donation. For many cancer patients, especially children undergoing treatment, platelets can be lifesaving. Because platelets have a very short shelf life, blood banks require a continuous supply of eligible donors.
Participants are encouraged to register to run, raise awareness, encourage donors, and support the community in understanding the importance of platelet donation.
