Freaky Creeky is back and ready to challenge you. It is set in the stunning terrain of Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park, just minutes from Vernon.
This is a course designed to challenge you on the climbs and reward you on the descents, whether you're a first-time trail runner, a seasoned racer, or someone who prefers to hike the ups and cruise the downs.
Freaky Creeky is for every level, and hikers are absolutely welcome.
Early registration until January 31st 2027.
Register by August 9th, 2027 to be guaranteed a T-shirt.
A donation from all race entry fees goes to NOCS for the creation and maintenance of the trail systems.
Each course winds through open grasslands, towering ponderosa pine and groves of Douglas-fir, with breathtaking lake views. You'll tackle steady climbs, rolling sections, and a mix of technical and flowy singletrack that keeps things fun from start to finish.
When registering for the 2.5ish km Sneaky Creeky children's race, you can expect a fun and challenging experience for your child. The course consists of 2 loops, each with a spicy climb, designed to give your child a taste of the trail running experience.
The race is timed, but the emphasis is on participation and enjoyment rather than competition. Every child who completes the race receives a medallion and a goodie bag. The race takes place at the start/finish line like our big kids race and is open to children of all ability levels.
It is a fantastic opportunity for kids to challenge themselves, have fun, and meet other young trail runners.
Coldstream is a district municipality in British Columbia, Canada, at the northern end of Kalamalka Lake in the Okanagan Valley. It lies directly southeast of Vernon, is considered part of Greater Vernon, and is home to the head offices of the Regional District of North Okanagan. Summers are warm and dry and winters are cold, so late spring and early autumn are the best seasons to race.
